“My biggest fear is squandering my life, and so because that is my biggest fear, the opposite of that would probably be my biggest purpose.” - Jody MacDonald
“I went and sat in my car and thought, what do I do now?”
Jody was told she had one to four years to live. After surgery, she learned that she had been misdiagnosed. She was one of eight people in the world at the time to have developed a Struma Ovarii, an extremely rare tumor in her abdomen. It was benign and she was given a second chance at life. With it, came a significant reminder; to live out the remainder of her life with purpose- no days squandered, no time lost- She told herself that she would never spend her life any other way.
Fearless in her approach, world renowned photographer, adventurer and conservationist Jody MacDonald invites us on a rare opportunity to see the world through her unique lens. She has racked up decades of experience exploring the most remote spots on the planet and capturing its wild untamed beauty, searching for stories of hope and resilience.
