Challenge Accepted

We collaborated with the marketing and fundraising teams at American University and conceptualized, directed, and produced brand and fundraising campaigns. The pieces include a soundscape of on campus speeches from President Barack Obama, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Senator Sarah McBride, news anchor and author, María Elena Salinas, President John F. Kennedy, Stacey Abrams, First Lady, Laura Bush and AU’s fifteenth and first female president, Sylvia Burwell. The final commercial comprises 266 photos, filmed on campus and in several of Washington DC’s most notable neighborhoods, and cuts approximately every four frames. For art direction, we partnered with long-time collaborator and friend, muralist and designer, Cita Sadeli (MISS CHELOVE). Original music composition was provided by Ian McLeod of Cleod9 Music.
