Shaun White - The Last Run

We partnered with newly launched streaming giant Max to conceptualize, design, write, produce and edit the trailer for the world premiere of Shaun White: The Last Run, a four-part docuseries chronicling the life and rise of the world’s most celebrated snowboarder.

The trailer captures the drive, passion, and challenges of this sports hero’s journey, from being catapulted into the global spotlight at a young age to the triumphs and failures of competing in five Olympics over his more than 25-year career.

We also led a remote video shoot with Shaun in LA to create a custom endpage animation for the project, featuring a multi-layer composite of original footage of Shaun, him catching air and range of snow covered mountains.

As a team comprised of quite a few skaters & snowboarders, we were stoked to have been able to provide multiple options as part of AlterEgo’s exploratory process. We feel what was left on the cutting room floor deserves to be seen so peep the alt trailer above.
