We collaborated with the in-house creative agency at National Geographic to create a three-part branded storytelling series for Samsung. We filmed in four iconic locations, featuring Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Jimmy Chin and world-class climber and photographer Savannah Cummins in Wyoming, Nat Geo photographer Katie Orlinsky in Alaska and photojournalist Kirsten Luce in Arizona and Navajo Nation.The series was filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic using exclusively Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra phones, which had yet to be released. We worked through all cinematography challenges with Moment in crafting custom cases to accommodate their 18mm and 58mm lenses and filtration. Other notable tech solves include utilizing Freefly’s MoVi Cinema Robot, FilmicPro software and eventually creating a patented solution to link a Director’s monitor with Teradek.The series Beyond the Frame (#withGalaxy) was published in the 12.2020 issue of National Geographic magazine.&nbsp;

Teaming up with the internal creative agency at National Geographic, we created a co-branded, multiple media Instagram story for Tumi, featuring award-winning adventure photographer and explorer, Jody MacDonald. We initially identified Guatemala as the ideal travel destination to provide a plethora of daring activities. Over the course of a week, we traveled from Antigua to Lake Atitlan in the South, to the ancient ruins of Tikal in the North. We hiked, swam, jumped and paraglided while filming. Equal parts photography and video, Jody was constantly captured on camera while she captured the beauty of her travel adventure across Guatemala.&nbsp;
